COULD YOU
VOLUNTEER
FOR
LOOE
RNLI?
Just imagine what you could do …
•
Join our unsung heroes as a lifeboat crew member
•
Become a Community Safety Advisor
•
Get involved in youth education
•
Help as a street collector, event marshal or cheerer
•
Take visitors on guided tours of the boathouse
•
Sell gifts, organise stock, display and sales
So you don’t have to get your feet wet!
Volunteers are the heart of the RNLI and make up 95% of our people.
They are ordinary people who do extraordinary things and without them we couldn’t save lives at sea.
And it’s not all about volunteering on our lifeboats or at our stations.
There are so many other ways you can give a little (or a lot) of your time to
support the RNLI and make a lifesaving difference.
Youth educator
Education volunteers share safety messages and inspire young people about how to stay safe in
and around water and what to do if they need help.
